Robert C. Lieb, Professor, General Management Group; Patrick F. and Helen C. Walsh Research Professor, 1995-97. Professor Lieb has a variety of research interests, including international logistics, third party logistics, the development of national transportation policies, and negotiations. He is the author of four  books, including Transportation, now in its fourth edition, Third Party Logistics: A Manager's Guide, and numerous articles and monographs, and has done extensive consulting for industrial and governmental clients. A member of several professional organizations, including the Transportation Research Forum, the International Transport Group, and the Council of Logistics Management, he holds a BS from Duquesne University and MBA and DBA degrees from the University of Maryland.
