We found Betsy on Petfinder. We brought her home from a local animal shelter on April 25, 2003. She seems to be mainly, perhaps entirely, Treeing Walker Coonhound. Opinions vary as to her age. We've decided that her full name includes each of our last names: hence, Betsy Liu Watson.
Her energy and weight were low when she first came home. This was a typical pose. It still is, in that she likes to curl up and relax in this chair.
She now has a lot more energy. We're all glad that we live near the Arnold Arboretum. Here is Betsy, with Judy, at the highest point of the Arboretum.
Here she is, in September 2003, at
Halibut Point. She's with my parents, who were over from England on vacation.
Here she is on our deck in October, getting ready for Halloween.
